Fabrica Hill
Welcome to Fabrica Hill, the hidden gem of Paphos that you won’t find on your typical tourist maps.
This limestone wonderland is often overlooked, but trust me when I say it’s worth the climb.
As a local, I highly recommend exploring this spot – it’s like escaping another world! Just watch your footing, as not all the cuttings in the rock are fenced off.
At the top, you’ll be rewarded with a 4th-century BC pebble mosaic, one of the oldest in Cyprus.
And the view? Oh boy, it’s a knockout. From Kato Paphos to the 2nd century AD odeon and up to the old town, the views will leave you breathless. Well… almost breathless. Let’s not forget those steps!
I would also suggest taking a picnic – it’s a perfect spot to relax and take in the natural beauty of Paphos.
And the best part? It’s just a 10-minute walk from the harbour and bus station, with no entrance fee required. Don’t forget to wear sensible shoes, or you might slip back down the hill!
