Church of Agia Kyriaki

You can’t call yourself a true Paphian until you’ve visited Ayia Kyriaki Chrysopolitissa (Church of Agia Kyriaki and post St. Paul), where history meets divinity!

That’s right! And it’s not just any old pillar; it’s Saint Paul’s. Legend has it that this pillar marks where Saint Paul converted the first Christian ruler and made Cyprus the first Christian country.

The Church of Agia Kyriaki is a multi-denominational wonderland where religions come together under one cool, bare stone roof. 

You’ll find an ancient fresco and a simple altar with a shining silver crucifix. Plus, there are also a couple of smaller altars with pretty icons.

But the real kicker? The pillars of St. Paul and the tomb of Erik Ejegod, King of Denmark, are nearby.
