Vrisoudia ΙΙ Beach
Alright, beach bums, we’ve got a little hidden gem for you – Vrisoudia ΙΙ Beach in Kato Paphos.
Yeah, it’s not the most extensive beach in town, but what it lacks in size makes up for charm.
We’re talking a narrow strip of sand here, people, but let us tell you – it’s nice. And get this – the water is relatively calm.
So you can dip your toes without worrying about getting swept away by a rogue wave. Plus, the beach attendant is friendly and takes care of business.
And don’t worry – if you need to take a bathroom break or rinse off the sand, showers, and toilets are right behind the beach.
Plus, there’s a shop on the main road just behind the hotel’s area in Kato Paphos. It’s less than a five-minute walk away, so you can pop over and grab a few beers at a much better price than using the hotel bar.
Now, let’s talk specifics. This tiny grey sandy beach is just below the Deck cafe along the Kato Paphos promenade. It’s got loungers and parasols for hire (€7.50 for two loungers and a parasol).
But fair warning – there’s not much space for your beach blanket if you prefer to go that route. And if you plan on getting in the water, water shoes are recommended – there are lots of rocks.
Visibility might not be excellent if you’re hoping to do some snorkeling, but the kids will enjoy having sand to play with.
So if you’re looking for a quieter sandy beach with reasonably sheltered water, head over to this little gem. Trust us; you won’t be disappointed.
