The Little Fisherman

Hold onto your hats, folks – we’ve got another cool sculpture by the talented local artist Yiota Ioannidou to add to your must-see list: The Little Fisherman.

This lousy boy perfectly complements two other sculptures in the area – Sol Alter by the Harbour Castle and the Little Girl with the Sparrow outside the old market.

And trust us – once you’ve seen them all, you’ll feel like a true art connoisseur.

So where can you find The Little Fisherman? Well, head to Leoforos Poseidonos and look for the concrete pier. 

You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see a boy trying (and failing) to hide an enormous fish. Hey, we’ve all been there.

And while we’re not quite sure what he’s up to, we know one thing – this sculpture makes for some seriously excellent photo spot. 

Just imagine the setting sun behind you as you pose with this masterpiece – talk about Instagram gold!
