Attention all nature lovers – we’ve got a hot tip for you to satisfy your wanderlust cravings: The Roudias Venetian Bridge!

Now, fair warning – this place isn’t for the faint of heart. 

To get there, you’ll need to start your journey in the abandoned village of Vretsia and embark on a 3km trek through some seriously remote forest. 

But trust us – it’s worth it.

Along the way, watch for minor signs that label the plants and trees nearest the path. 

And while you might not spot any tourists on your journey, we guarantee you’ll be visited by plenty of birds, lizards, and butterflies. Oh my!

But the real star of the show is the bridge itself. It looks like something straight out of a fairy tale and is seriously impressive. 

We’d recommend it to anyone… as long as you don’t mind a bit of a challenge getting there.

Just a word of caution – do NOT try to access the bridge from the village of Agios Ioannis. 

Google might lead you astray, and the road is downright dangerous. 

Stick to the village of Vretsia or the Tzelefos Bridge to see this beauty in person.
